Description
Needing a break from my flower series, I thought I'd jump on the dragonfly bandwagon since I don't have one in my gallery. Near as I can tell this is a Twelve Spotted Skimmer, Libellula Pulchella. Since I'm totally ignorant when it comes to dragonflies, hopefully Ms Michelle Lynn can set me straight. The shot is NOT A MACRO. I used my 400mm prime lens and am somewhat pleased with the results. Hope you enjoy it.EXIF: Canon EOS 20D w/EF 400mm 5.6 L lens, ISO 100, f 6.3 @ 1/320 sec. Tripod. shot in raw format.
