Description
Sorry for my inactivity of late I have been very busy and have had very little free time to view all of the great work here. One of the most common bird in North America, the chipping sparrow is a small bird 5 1/2 inches (13cm). It's habitat is open woods, conifers, orchards, farms and towns. It can be identified by it's gray breast, bright rufous cap, a black line through the eye and a white line over it. For such a common bird, I hardly ever see pics of it so I decided to take one. Hope you enjoy it.Things should normalize in a couple more weeks hopefully.Canon 20D ISO 200, f5.6 @ 1/100sec. 400mm

The stick under the bird is a bit too bright for my tastes, thus distracting attention from the bird, but not too much, it still looks good. May I ask what lens has a bokeh like this?
Thanks

It's a perfect bird shot but that is expected from you
I really like the details on the feathers
and the painterly background works very well
